Olive energy generating town: development

The project design was changed into something more blend in with the context. By using the benefit of dune structure itself to be the place that hold people and activities.The roof like structure is coming from a sunflower structure where its pattern, when adapted to the heliostat layout, is the best formation for sharing the sun concentration to all over the area. Also the heliostat field will give shade to the Olive grove underneath of it.

The programs have been divided into 4 major areas: Factory/ Residential area/ Olive grove/ Heliostat field and solar tower

Using the idea of 'the great green wall' project. The very long tree belt used to slow down the wind and try to stop desertification, located along the south of Sahara desert.

The project also use the similarity of both electricity generating process in order to take the benefit from both Olive waste from the olive oil process and sun heat from the desert.
