The idea is to explore both the chemical and physical aspects of chocolate by combining with other materials to create new elements for design.
Chemically, Theobromine found within cocoa beans will be combined with the chemicals found in other psychoactive plants found in the Amazon Rainforest to create medicinal chocolate bars meant to cure emotional and mental traumas at this Chocolate Retreat.
Physically, chocolate is a phase-change material. Its physical properties are similar to those of gold, aluminum, titanium, steel, and other materials that are able to be melted into liquid and molded back to solid at certain temperatures. The mixing of these materials will be explored for the project.
